Zelma Bookstaver

	Zelma Bookstaver, 92, of DuQuoin, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Fair Acres Nursing Home in DuQuoin.
	Mrs. Bookstaver was a retired payroll clerk at Decca Records.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
	 She was born March 9, 1909 at DuQuoin, the daughter of C.O. Wellington and Anna Wilson.  She married Howard V. Bookstaver on November 19, 1927 in DuQuoin and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1977.
	 Surviving are one son, Charles Bookstaver of DuQuoin; grandchildren, Norman (Carole) Hill of DuQuoin, Cha (Debbie) HIll of DuQuoin, Lisa (Brian) Craze of Phoenix, Ariz. and Heidi Bookstaver of Boise, Idaho; great grandchildren, Trent, Adam and Aaron Hill, Andrew Hannah and Elizabeth Craze and Ashley, Nick and A.J. Hill and six great-great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, three sisters and one daughter, Dorothy Hill.
	Funeral services were Friday, August 31 at Maxton Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. Carl S. Mesiti officiating.  Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park.
	Friends called after 8 a.m. Friday at Maxton Funeral Chapel.
	Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.
